Terms of Service
Effective 2 August 2026
These are the terms you agree to when you create a Frontrun account. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version. We watch employers' own careers pages and tell you when an internship opens. You pay £8 a month and can cancel whenever you like. We are fast, but we cannot promise we will always be first, and we cannot promise you a job. Do not share your account or scrape the feed.
1. Who you are contracting with
Frontrun ("Frontrun", "we", "us") is an independent business based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@frontrun.uk, which is the correct address for any notice under these terms.
If you need our full trading details — to make a formal complaint, to serve a legal notice, or simply because you would rather know who you are dealing with — email that address and we will give them to you. We will not refuse that request.
If you are a consumer — and almost all of our members are — nothing in these terms removes or limits your rights under UK consumer law. Where a clause here conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights win.
2. What Frontrun does
Frontrun monitors the public careers pages and applicant tracking systems of a set of firms, and notifies you when a role matching your interests is published. You get the role, the employer, the location, and a direct link to the employer's own application page.
To be explicit about what Frontrun is not:
- We are not an employer, a recruiter, or an agent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any firm we monitor.
- We do not submit applications for you, and we never will without asking.
- We do not receive payment from any employer for including or ranking a role. Employers do not know we are watching, and cannot buy their way up the list.
- We do not review, screen, or vouch for any role or employer. The listing is theirs; we are reporting it.
3. What we promise, and what we do not
We will use reasonable skill and care to keep the service running and the data accurate. That is a real obligation and we take it seriously.
But we want to be straight with you about the limits, because the alternative is selling you something we cannot deliver:
- We do not guarantee we will be first. The speed figures we publish are honest measurements of our past performance across recorded comparisons. They are medians, not promises, and past speed does not guarantee future speed.
- We do not guarantee completeness. Employers change their systems, block automated access, or publish roles in places we do not watch. We will miss things.
- We do not guarantee accuracy of employer content. Titles, locations, deadlines and links come from the employer. If they publish it wrong, we will report it wrong.
- Roles close. A role that was open when we alerted you may be closed by the time you apply.
- We cannot get you a job. Frontrun gets you to the application form sooner. Everything after that is you.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis beyond the reasonable skill and care above, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
4. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account. You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so keep access to that mailbox secure — anyone who can read your email can reach your account.
One account is for one person. A subscription covers your personal use on your own devices. Do not share your account or sign-in links with anyone else, and do not resell, sublicense or redistribute what you get from us.
Fair use, and what we actually enforce
You may read the feed as much as you want as a person using the product. You may not:
- scrape, bulk-download, or systematically copy the feed;
- republish our data, in whole or in substantial part, anywhere;
- use automated tools to extract data through your account; or
- build a competing or derivative product from our output.
We apply a daily read limit per account to enforce this. It is set well above what any real person reaches, and it exists to catch automated extraction, not to ration your use. If your account trips it repeatedly we may contact you, apply a stricter limit, or — for clear and deliberate abuse — suspend the account. We will tell you why.
5. Price, billing and the free first month
Frontrun costs £8 per month, including any applicable UK VAT.
The first 100 members get their first month free. If you cancel during that free month, you pay nothing at all — no card is charged, and you keep access until the free month ends.
After any free period, your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry, and we may suspend access until it succeeds.
We may change the price. If we do, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the new price will only apply from your next renewal after that notice. If you do not want to pay it, cancel before then and you will not be charged the new amount. We will not raise the price of an existing subscription without telling you first.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time, for any reason, without contacting a human. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then.
Your legal cancellation rights and our refund policy are set out in full on the Refunds & cancellation page, which forms part of these terms.
7. Our content and yours
The Frontrun name, site, software, ranking and the compiled dataset are ours. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of it to you. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active.
Individual job listings are the employers' content, reported as facts about what they have published. Employer names and marks belong to those employers and are used only to identify them.
8. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate an account if you materially breach these terms — in particular the fair-use rules in clause 4 — or if we are required to by law.
If we terminate your account and you have not breached these terms, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period. If we stop operating Frontrun altogether, we will give you reasonable notice by email and refund any period you have paid for but will not receive.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that: we are not liable for any missed opportunity, rejected application, lost internship, lost earnings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Frontrun. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
We say this plainly because it is the honest boundary of what an alerting service can stand behind: we can tell you a role opened, but we cannot be responsible for what happens to your application.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then if you do not accept it. Minor corrections — typos, clarifications, contact details — take effect when published, and the effective date at the top will change.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
12. Contact
Questions, complaints, or anything that reads wrong to you: hello@frontrun.uk. We aim to reply within two working days.
