Refunds & cancellation
Effective 2 August 2026
Cancelling should take less effort than subscribing did. This page explains how, and exactly when you get money back.
The short version. Cancel any time in two clicks. Cancel during your free month and you are never charged. Ask within 14 days of any payment and we refund it in full, no questions and no reason needed.
How to cancel
Sign in, open your account, and choose Cancel subscription. It takes effect immediately and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no retention flow, no "are you sure" maze, and nobody will call you.
If you cannot reach the button for any reason, email hello@frontrun.uk and we will cancel it for you. A cancellation request by email is valid the moment you send it, whatever happens afterwards.
Your free month
If you are one of the first 100 members, your first month is free. Cancel before it ends and you are never charged anything. You do not need to give a reason, and you keep access for the rest of the free month.
Your legal 14-day right
Because you are buying from us at a distance, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days from the day you subscribe to change your mind and get your money back.
Strictly, if you ask us to start the service immediately, the law lets a business either charge you for the part you used or ask you to give up that right altogether. We do neither. We do not ask you to waive it, and we do not deduct for days used. Within those 14 days you get the full amount back.
Our own refund promise, beyond the law
We extend the same 14-day rule to every payment, not just your first:
- Ask within 14 days of any charge and we refund that charge in full. No reason needed, no questions asked.
- This applies to a renewal you forgot was coming, which is the most common reason anyone asks. We would rather refund it than keep money from someone who did not mean to spend it.
- If our service was substantially broken during a period you paid for — the scanner was down, or alerts were not sent — tell us and we will refund that period whether or not 14 days have passed.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, via Stripe. We process them within two working days; your bank then usually takes 5–10 days to show it.
What we will not refund
We want to be straight about the limits rather than bury them:
- Months completed more than 14 days ago, where the service was working normally.
- Any period where an account was suspended for the fair-use breaches described in the Terms of Service — bulk scraping or redistributing the feed.
We will not refuse a refund because you did not get an internship. Frontrun sells speed to the application form, not outcomes, and it would be dishonest to treat a rejection as a service failure — in either direction.
If we cancel on you
If we terminate your account without you having breached the terms, or we shut Frontrun down, we refund the unused part of what you have paid. You will get reasonable notice by email first.
Disputes
If you are unhappy with how a refund was handled, email hello@frontrun.uk and say so plainly — we aim to reply within two working days. If we cannot resolve it, your statutory rights are unaffected and you can raise it with your card provider or take it further. Nothing here limits your rights under UK consumer law.
